About the Role

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Marketing Plans/tools and be accountable for Sales & Marketing Strategy and its successful implementation.
  • Growth in the revenue base and profit contribution in the vehicle sales from all areas including Bodybuilding, insurance, tracking system, accessories etc.
  • Growth in the business and improvement in customer service, customer base and actively ensure improved returns in all other segments of the business.
  • Successful and profitable implementation of new business products and initiative.
  • Ensure compliance with the legal, statutory, and administrative compliance and functioning within your area of operation.
  • Suggest, formulate & Implement company policies and procedures ensuring adherence to the same.
  • Optimal utilization and cost-effective cost controls of the company resources.
  • To develop a reporting mechanism for tracing vehicle progress and ensure weekly circularization to the stakeholders.
  • Improvement in turnaround time within specified credit period provided and delivery of quality (final) product and services with an increase in AM’s customer satisfaction and a decrease in lost business.
  • Effective discharge of deals to reduce time lapse and interests charged on delayed units, and recovery of such losses from the customers (wherever possible).
  • Ensure bodies and other additions to the vehicles are of quality and meet customers' needs and satisfaction.
  • Work in collaboration with other service providers e.g bodybuilders, insurance agents etc for timely delivery of services.
  • Monitoring WIP, vehicle movements, storage & associated management (including risk), and adherence to the strict control at all times, ensuring that vehicles are timely inspected & registered accurately.
  • Ensure efficient cash management, timely invoices, releases, and that vehicle/deal turnaround time is within the IEA credit period.
  • Review all sales quotations and filled tenders from corporate bodies.
  • Roll out marketing plans & activities with a view to fully & measurable benefits.
  • Ensure the sales team is fully motivated, complying with the office policies & procedures, induction of new staff as per policies and procedures, monitoring all sales staff activities and results.
  • Conduct effective and accurate market research and apply the information to increase market share in a competitive environment.
  • Develop and execute corporate marketing and communication channels.
  • Ensure growth of brand equity, as per the requirement in branch.
  • Develop and oversee customer lifecycle marketing activities that maximize profit from existing customers.
  • Work closely with the sales team to enable them to meet commercial objectives by providing them with appropriate tools, materials, and presentations.
  • Ensure sustainable profitability and market share for branch ensuring leadership in the region.
  • Nurture talent in conjunction with HR and ensure optimal staffing levels, training, discipline, and performance evaluations are carried out consistently.
  • Any other duties, responsibilities, and activities assigned from time to time by the GM Sales

Minimum Requirements:

  • Degree / Diploma in business related field
  • 5+ years of successful sales experience in automotive industry
  • Demonstrated record of managing successful sales force
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications such as excel, PowerPoint and Word Skills & Competencies
  • Capacity to perform in a highly pressurized environment.
