The Manager – Wealth & VAS Commercialization, will report to the Senior manager Commercialization in the Digital Financial Services Division. The purpose of this role is to deliver best in class route to market and commercial sales solutions for all new digital Insurance, wealth & VAS products. The role is responsible for conceiving, designing, developing, and deploying the go to market plans; route to market selection, channel focus, trade marketing support, collateral design, picture of success toolkits and commercial terms for digital wealth, insurance & VAS services in collaboration with other divisions / subsidiaries across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with marketing and sales to design and deploy customer acquisition plans, rules of engagement, sales processes, route to market, digital marketing, CVM, toolkits, CX support, training manuals and key performance metrics for new digital Insurance, Wealth & VAS products / enhancements.
  • Use customer insights and market deep knowledge to develop quick scale to value customer acquisition programs for all digital Insurance, Wealth & VAS innovations.
  • Leverage sales team insights to develop tactical product uptake campaigns and promotions toolkits to quickly scale digital insurance, wealth & VAS customer numbers and usage growth numbers in line with business expectations.
  • Work closely with CVM, CX and Product Managers to resolve customer journey pain points across customers, agents, and partners for new digital Insurance, Wealth & VAS innovations /and enhancements.
  • In coordination with other stakeholders prepare and deploy go live launch kits and post launch reviews of new digital insurance, wealth, and VAS products in line with the bank’s innovation procedures and policies.
  • Prepare and deliver new product launch kits / tool kits, execution materials and training manuals for deployment by the growth team.
  • Resolving any escalated customer issues to ensure customer satisfaction.

The Person

For the above position, the successful applicant should have the following:

  • A Bachelor’s degree.
  • Certification in relevant professional body is an additional advantage
  • At least five years in managerial experience in leading digital commercialization of products and services (insurance, wealth, VAS)
  • At least five years relevant work experience with specific experience in:
    • Business development
    • Insurance and wealth management
    • sales management
    • Experience in delivery of commercialization of mobile financial products and services in a high growth environment.
    • Building relationships, networks & Managing teams
    • Project Management/Relationship Management.
    • Experience of commercialization of lending products and services on a Mobile Money or Payments or Lending Platform Support.
