Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to generate new catering business and achieve sales targets.
  • Identify and prospect potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and attending industry events.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring repeat business and customer loyalty.
  • Conduct client needs assessments and provide customized catering solutions based on their requirements.
  • Prepare and present proposals, contracts, and pricing to clients in a professional and persuasive manner.
  • Collaborate with the catering team to ensure seamless event execution and exceptional customer service.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and market demands to identify business growth opportunities.
  • Track and report on sales activities, pipeline, and results on a regular basis.
  • Provide feedback and input on marketing strategies to promote catering services and attract new clients.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of our catering menus, pricing, and policies to address client inquiries accurately.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in catering sales or a similar role, with a demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills with the ability to persuade and influence clients effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Exceptional customer service orientation with a focus on building long-term relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of self-motivation and initiative.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required to accommodate client events.
