Rattan Direct is looking for an experienced Procurement Executive to join our purchasing team. As a Procurement Executive, you will support the Head of Sourcing and Product Development in sourcing and purchasing goods and ensuring that our company is able to meet customer demands. 

Responsibilities

• Assist with the sourcing and purchasing of goods for the company
• Support the negotiation with suppliers to ensure the best prices and terms.
• Keep internal system product details up to date, for example prices, lead-times, MOQ etc.
• Manage the Critical Path for NPD.
• Monitor market trends and analyse data to identify potential new suppliers
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
• Work closely with other departments to ensure that purchasing activities are aligned with the company’s overall strategy

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in supply chain or related field
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in purchasing or a related field
• Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) an added advantage
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions
• Ability to work independently and in a multi-national team-oriented environment.
• Knowledge of Outdoor and Indoor Furniture and/or Home Interiors would be an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Experience with procurement systems and software is a plus
