Minimum Qualifications and Experience 

• Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree or any other equivalent qualification from an institution recognized by the Kenya medical practitioners and dentists council
• Master of dental surgery (MDS) in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery from an institution recognized by the Kenya medical practitioners and dentists council.
• Registration with the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council KMPDC) as a maxillofacial surgeon. 
• Recognition as a specialist by the KMPDC.
• Valid Practice License from the Kenya medical practitioners and dentists council.
• Professional Insurance Indemnity Cover. 
• Proficiency in computer applications. 
• At least one (1) year experience as an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon in a busy hospital.
