About the role

Burn is looking for a Carbon Administrative Officer who will be responsible for carrying out specific tasks – as defined by the Carbon Manager – falling outside the scope of the existing Carbon staff.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • HR and Finance: Assist BURN’s carbon operations staff on specific HR, admin, and finance tasks e.g., making sure PRFs are submitted to Finance on time
  • Project Management: Be the organizer of the Key meetings held by the Carbon operations team every week including but not limited to ensuring stakeholders are aware of and invited to key meetings, taking minutes in meetings, following up on action points, etc
  • Data Reporting: Produce analytical reports on the development and performance of BURN’s carbon operations team based on the KPIs of the department
  • Market Research: Manage specific desktop research assignments to support the carbon operations team

Skills and Experience: 

  • Ideally and understand carbon projects design and implementation
  • Excellent Communication skills in both written and spoken English, and ideally in French
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Excellent Project management, organizational, and cross-cultural communication skills
  • Strong analysis/number-crunching background
  • Excellent desktop and networking research skills
  • Knowledge of sales and marketing fields
  • Relevant Diploma or Bachelor’s degree
  • Previous experience in market research and data reporting would be an added advantage
