Country Manager – Kenya


​Our client is FinTech company currently looking for a Country Manager to drive the business growth across the country.

The responsibilities
1. Local management and growth of the Kenyan country team across all functions, building the team from 20 to 50 employees.
2. Building and executing a growth strategy for the market, including a financial business plan.
3. Full P&L responsibility for the execution of the above business plan.
4. Build and foster relationships with key external stakeholders, such as Regulators, Banks, and other such authorities.
5. Drive business growth by identifying and executing new commercial opportunities to expand.

Requirements
1. Previous direct business responsibility in Kenya from either:
​Subscription type of products/service, or a frequent-use small-value product/service, Consumer payments, cards, retail banking, financial services, mobile wallets, financial apps or similar B2C products FMCG/telco style retail distribution (and wholesalers/distributors)
2. Experience managing multi-functional teams of 40+ employees.
3. Proven track record of building sustainable commercial partnerships
4. Managing promoter agencies, events, and building user communities/sub-segments is strongly preferred.
5. Experience with consumer finance products is a plus.
6. Online and offline (traditional marketing)experience
