Education

  • Advanced university degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in business administration, management, economics or a related field. A first-level university degree in combination with qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree

Work Experience

  • A minimum of seven years of progressively responsible experience in project or programme management, administration or related area is required.
  • Experience in leading a multi-ethnic, multi-disciplinary team is desirable.
  • Experience in the organization of large-scale events are desirable
  • Experience in managing programmes and projects related to sustainable urbanization is desirable.

Languages

  • English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For the position advertised, fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another official United Nations language is desirable.
