Our client, a high-end camp in Narok is looking to recruit a Nurse to be based in their camp. The successful candidate will be in charge of providing assistance and support to clinical operations in the camp. The candidate will also take care of any patients, offer guidance and support, maintain a clean and safe working environment and ensure that all operational tasks are completed efficiently and on time. The ideal candidate MUST have more than 1 year operation experience working in a clinic /hospital set up.

Key Requirements:

• Collect samples from clients.
• Provide ongoing support to our clinical operations during the COVID-19 pandemic.
• Under broad supervision, provides professional care in accordance with nurse protocols, policies and/or procedures.
• Record clients’ medical records and monitor any vital signs
• Receive and manage all clinic supplies.
• Collaborate with medical team.
• Maintain staffing schedule and operational lists as needed to perform safe and effective operations
• Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.
• Handle complaints appropriately in accordance with the Hospital’s Policies and procedures in place.
• May oversee other medical assistants and staff.

Qualifications:

• Relevant degree/diploma in nursing.
• A valid practicing license as a nurse.
• MUST have more than 1 year operation experience in a clinic/hospital set-up.
• MUST have knowledge of the nursing process, current, and legal aspects of documentation.
• Ability to travel to satellite sites and/or off-site locations for events or training as needed.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general health and social services guidelines, technical procedures, or governmental regulations in English.
• Ability to administer a wide range of critical care drugs, to include knowledge of indications, contraindications, and side effects.
• Ability to coordinate quality assurance programs in area of specialty.
