Requirements for appointment

Applicants must have the following: -

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management; OR Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences plus a Diploma in Human Resource Management;
  • Must be a professional member of IHRM
  • Certificate in computer applications skills; and

Duties and Responsibilities

This is the entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the guidance of a senior officer. Specific duties and responsibilities will
entail:

  • Authorizing leave;
  • Authorizing payroll data amendments;
  • Attending to general correspondence;
  • Verifying information relating to recruitment, appointment, transfers, salary payment;
  • Issuing letters of appointment and confirmation;
  • Issuing retirement notices;
  • Processing of separation documents/benefits;
