Project Manager- Telecom
Location; Nairobi
Qualifications & experience
• Bachelor’s degree or above with a Major in Telecommunications/Electrical/Civil Engineering or related fields.
• Minimum 5 years project management experience in Telecom industry, successfully delivering top corporate-level project or corporate-level project as a core member
• Full knowledge and experience in the application of professional project management methodologies is essential
• In-depth understanding of telecom industry, particularly in Project Management and have been exposed from project definition, implementation, and project acceptance
• Ability to grow and sustain a high performing team to attain goals and pursue excellence
• Experience in managing budgets, costs and expenses of the project effectively
• Capability of understanding the customers' requirements and ability to identify challenges and evaluate alternative business solutions.
• Certifications in the discipline of Project Control with accreditations such as PMP is an added advantage
• Ability to multitask and perform in a fast-paced environment, with controlled timelines.
• Excellent IT and MS software skills including Excel, Powerpoint, MS Visio etc.
• Willingness to work and respond to incidences 24 x 7.
