PROMO TV PRODUCER

REPORTING TO HEAD OF TV PRODUCTION AND PROGRAMMING

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB

This role is responsible for overseeing, creating, coordinating and managing all internal and external communications and advertising /promo campaigns.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Uphold high standards for all content under the responsibilities and ensure everything is aligned;
• Produce internal marketing campaigns;
• Implement marketing strategies for the various campaigns, communicating brand messages in a consistent manner;
• Ensure that proper budgeting is done and submitted to relevant authorities for approval;
• Create innovative and visual concepts through development to final production;
• Conceptualizing, scripting, filming, Directing & editing;
• Ensure proper coordination of producers during post-production properties.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Academic and Professional Qualifications

• Diploma in Mass Communication or any other related field from a recognized institution.
• A Bachelor’s degree will be an added advantage.

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a vibrant TV production space, Social media skills is an added advantage.

SKILLS AND OTHER ATTRIBUTES

• Proficiency in marketing technologies such as google analytics;
• Fluency in written and spoken English and Kiswahili;
• Ability to make independent decisions;
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced and competitive environment; 
• Well-developed TV production and Advertising research skills;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
•  Attention to detail;
• Self-editing skills and a thorough knowledge of the appropriate editing production processes.
