Our client is an owner and operator of the leading premium car buying portal with the largest network of used cars in Japan. They enable their customers from around the globe to purchase and import excellent quality vehicles, directly from Japan. They have an online collection of more than 200,000+ cars. The stock is upgraded weekly, adding hundreds of vehicles, which allows for the customers to choose from a variety of vehicles. Once the customer has reserved the desired vehicle, the client takes care of the shipment and documentation-related troubles for the customer.
They are seeking to hire a qualified and highly skilled sales executive who will be responsible for the total operations of the dealership, including sales, finances, inventory, vehicle service, team-building, and long- and short-term business strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the sales of automobiles in the dealership.
- Contact clients with interest in procuring automobiles to offer them sales deals
- Maintain a list of new/existing customers and occasionally communicate with them to discuss business opportunities
- Lobby to secure contracts for the supply of vehicle units to businesses, government agencies, and private establishments
- Identify current product pricings, competing products and new techniques of merchandising
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance sales efficiency and increase generated revenue
- Interact with customers to identify their requirements and assist them in selecting a car that meets their specifications
- Supervise and guide the operations of sales managers and teams to ensure they are in line with set standards
- Oversee the processing of client orders to ensure timely delivery of purchased units
- Conduct negotiations with clients to reach a profitable bargain
- Set sales objectives and establish action plans for achieving set targets
- Oversee the merchandising and display of cars in the sales outlet
- Collect, analyze, and interpret sales records/transactions to ensure balanced accounts
- Conduct the inspection of automobiles to ensure they are in good condition
- Determine conditions for discount as well as the percent discount given to customers on outright purchase
- Maintain contact with clients to provide post-sales services, obtain customer feedback and resolve any arising customer issue.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales, accounting, marketing, or another related field
- MUST have 5+ years of experience in an automobile dealership
- Proven knowledge of effective sales strategies and best practices
- Substantial track record of exceeding sales quotas and goals
- Excellent leadership skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Outgoing and service-oriented attitude
- Knowledge of inventory control and management
Work Hours
Full-time, office: 10 AM – 6 PM Mon – Fri and 10 AM – 2 PM Saturdays
