Business Executives 

REPORTING TO RESPECTIVE BUSINESS MANAGERS

Overall Purpose of the Job 

The Business Executives will be responsible for generating revenue for the Group through servicing existing and recruiting new clients.

 Key Accountabilities

  • Achieving set annual and monthly targets for different platforms across the Company.
  • Liaise with Credit control and clients regarding payment terms and debt collection while maintaining collection timelines.
  • Work with creativity and under minimum supervision.
  • Maintain close and effective contact with clients and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Attend regular sales review meetings for updates and feedback.
  • To support, maintain and grow business contacts with both the existing and potential advertising clients and agencies.
  • Develop strategy to increase sales volumes and market share.
  • Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs.
  • Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media.
  • Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their wishes, concerns and offer value driven business solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services.
  • Create frequent reviews and reports for the different products.
  • Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve better results.

 Person Specifications:

 Academic and Professional Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communication or a related field from a recognized institution.
  • Marketing Society of Kenya, Chartered Institute of Management Professional Qualification or its equivalent from a recognized institution. 

Experience 

  • 2 years relevant work experience. 

Skills and Attributes 

  • Able to work/learn in fast paced environment.
  • Ability to develop and grow senior-level relationships with clients.
  • Thorough understanding of sales, marketing and negotiating techniques.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  •  Aptitude in delivering attractive presentations.
  • Passion for sales, media innovation and solutions, good listener, a go-getter, persistent and problem solver.
