The Supply Planner will be responsible for ensuring the uninterrupted availability of finished goods, raw materials and packaging materials across manufacturing plants and depots. The role drives material planning, production planning and scheduling, inventory optimization, lost sales reduction, exception management, and proactive risk mitigation to support customer service, operational efficiency, and business growth.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: Supply & Production Planning
Collaborate with key stakeholders to analyze business requirements and ensure product availability aligns with organizational objectives and customer demand.
Develop short, medium, and long-term production plans aligned with demand forecasts and capacity constraints to optimize production schedules and maximize asset utilization and operational efficiency.
Build and align weekly production plans with all key stakeholders based on demand and supply plans.
Monitor execution and achievement of production plans and challenge deviations when necessary.
Raw & Packaging Material Planning
Develop and maintain material requirements plans using demand forecasts, production schedules, and BOMs, ensuring timely assessment of BOM changes and their impact on material demand, inventory, and supply plans.
Ensure timely availability of raw and packaging materials to support manufacturing requirements.
Monitor inventory levels, lead times, supplier performance, and replenishment plans.
.Lost Sales Control
Monitor finished goods inventory levels, identify and address drivers of stock outs and lost sales, and proactively communicate product availability risks to stakeholders to support timely mitigation actions and maintain service levels.
Work with commercial, production, and logistics teams to minimize revenue loss from supply constraints.
Track and report lost sales metrics and recovery actions.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
2–4 years of experience in supply planning, production planning, inventory management, or supply chain operations.
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and planning tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Advanced Excel and data analysis capabilities.
Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, consumer goods, or industrial environments is preferred.
