We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven, and skilled sales executive to become a part of our team. Your primary role will be to cultivate business opportunities centered around our company’s main products and services. Your duties will include identifying and establishing relationships with new clients and business contacts, securing business deals while also nurturing our existing customer base. You will play a crucial role in propelling sales and fostering robust customer relationships. This is a one-year contractual position with the possibility of extension based on your commendable performance throughout the term. Your dedication and results will pave the way for contract renewal and continued success with our team.

Functions: 

  • Proactively source new business opportunities and identify key prospects through networking and research.
  • Acquire new clients for the company while nurturing strong relationships with the current ones.
  • Engage with clients and potential clients, either in person or virtually, to understand their needs and propose appropriate solutions.
  • Carry out product demonstrations and presentations for potential clients, and schedule discovery calls with them.
  • Negotiate project schedules, costs, contracts, and close sales deals.
  • Collaborate actively with other departments (such as marketing and communication, customer service, and product teams) to enhance the customer experience, including providing feedback and suggestions for product or service enhancements.
  • Participate in industry events, workshops, trade shows, and expos to showcase our products and services.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends to identify potential improvements and recommend new products and services.
  • Conduct market research to discover opportunities and interact with business executives to formulate strategies for pursuing these new opportunities.
  • Prepare proposals and sales quotes, oversee vendor pre-qualifications and tender bidding processes, and discuss cost estimates with customers and other stakeholders.
  • Qualify leads generated by the marketing teams and design onboarding paths for each prospect.
  • Undertake post-sales tasks to ensure clients are happy with the products and services provided, and relay feedback to the relevant departments and teams.

Requirements and Skills:

  • Diploma or degree in Computer Science, IT, Business, Marketing, or similar fields.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an IT sales or business development role.
  • Experience in tenders and technical and financial proposal document preparation.
  • Proven ability to negotiate and strong marketing skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, research capabilities, negotiation skills and analytical capabilities.
  • Ability to cold call and email prospects.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, fast learner, quick decision maker and have a passion for sales.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM software
