Roles and Duties ofCustomer Service Representative

 
  • Interact with customers via phone, email, chat, or in-person to provide information, assistance, and solutions to their inquiries or issues.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships by actively listening to their needs and concerns and addressing them in a professional and empathetic manner.
  • Process customer orders, returns, exchanges, and requests in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Assist customers with product or service-related questions, troubleshooting, and technical support.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues efficiently and effectively, escalating to higher levels of support when necessary.
  • Keep accurate and organized records of customer interactions and transactions in a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system.
  • Stay informed about company products, services, promotions, and policies to provide accurate and up-to-date information to customers.

 

Minimum Qualification

  • Bachelor degree in equivalent educational qualification.
  • 1+ years of professional experience in customer service roles.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Empathetic and patient approach to customer interactions.
  • Proficiency in using customer service software and CRM systems.

Skills

  • Customer service certification or relevant training.
  • Multilingual abilities to assist a diverse customer base.
  • Experience with customer service software and tools.
