Responsibilities
Assist in the implementation of livelihoods and food security projects, under the supervision of senior staff members.
Participate in field assessments, surveys, and data collection activities to gather information on livelihoods, food security, and related issues.
Support the development of project proposals, work plans, and monitoring frameworks for livelihoods and food security interventions.
Help analyze and interpret data collected during assessments and surveys, and contribute to the preparation of reports and presentations.
Collaborate with project partners, community leaders, and beneficiaries to facilitate the effective implementation of project activities.
Assist in organizing training sessions, workshops, and community meetings on topics related to livelihoods diversification, agricultural practices, and food security.
Support the monitoring and evaluation of project activities, including tracking progress against project indicators and documenting lessons learned.
Stay informed about developments and best practices in the fields of livelihoods and food security, and contribute ideas for innovation and improvement.
Provide administrative support as needed, including organizing project documentation, scheduling meetings, and maintaining communication with project stakeholders.
Contribute to the organization's social media and communication efforts related to livelihoods and food security projects, including content creation and dissemination.

Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in fields such as Agriculture, Development Studies, Economics, Environmental Science, or related areas.
Strong interest in livelihoods and food security issues, with a commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of vulnerable populations.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and flexible approach to tasks and responsibilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with data analysis software is preferred.
Previous experience or coursework in project management, community development, or related fields is advantageous but not required.
Fluency in English is typically required, with proficiency in other languages relevant to the geographical context of operations being advantageous.
