- We are pleased to announce the vacancy for Knowledge Platform Manager. This is a Fixed Term Contract Vacancy for 2 years within Research Planning and Design Department within CEO's Office. In keeping in line with our current business needs, we are looking for a person who meets the criteria below.
Brief Description
- Reporting to the COE HOD – Research, Planning and Design, the role holder will be responsible for;
- Leading and monitoring Knowledge systems and services.
- Overseeing and directing product development and facilitates communication between internal and external customers regarding the Knowledge Management programs, products, and projects.
- Preparing and implementing a long-term plan for knowledge and information asset development, based on organizational goals.
- Collecting, synthesizing, organizing, and managing curriculum related knowledge and services for the benefit of the organization, its clients, and its business partners.
- Creating relationships with sources of knowledge and information, including internal and external customers in order to acquire knowledge that will enable the organization to streamline processes, and increase collaboration.
- Collecting and summarizing data from product testing so that the department can perform competitive analyses and monitor key measures of success.
- Facilitating the integration of 3rd party Knowledge content providers with existing systems.
- Recommending methods and procedures to enhance course delivery and teaching operations.
- Facilitating communication between external vendors to enhance delivery of instruction were taken.

Build repository for opportunities for growth
- Information that Embeds and drives the understanding of consumer motivation and identification of opportunities that will unlock growth for the business.
Information to Drive consumer-led brand/product building
- Champion and drive world class consumer understanding and insights that will drive growth using a variety of best practices and processes.
- Putting the consumers at the heart of everything, actively inspire and influence Research and product teams to ensure they ingrain consumer feedback/insights in the brand/product strategy and marketing activities to maximize effectiveness and profitability.
- Push planning, insights as opposed to data management.
- Global & Kenya liaison for Knowledge management.
Driving learning into action from measurement and evaluation (M&E)
- Understand the value of M&E to the research agenda and to the brand/products.
- performance and it's fit into the brand/product planning process. Identify and address any barriers to the implementation of M&E, ensure learning and experiences are shared and applied after each activity to drive growth.
- Champion the search and spin of knowledge, information and ideas that will make M&E a creative process that appeals to brand/product teams.
- Drive customer centric knowledge culture both with internal and external customers.
- Continually challenge the processes and procedures for current supply service levels/ challenging convention.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in information science.

- Experience in delivering and embedding solutions.
- Experience working within a research team.
- 3 yrs experience in either library sciences/knowledge systems, project management
