About the Role

Salary: 25-30k
Reporting to: Head of Technical
Job Location: Mombasa branch

Our client, a registered company in Kenya that deals with selling and after sales service of IT Products is looking to hire a competent Technical Support Executive.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Providing IT support such as fiscalzing, programming of ETR machines as well as training customers.
  • Programming and installation of ESD machines and training of clients.
  • Supporting the maintenance of existing Point of Sale systems, including troubleshooting problems with hardware and software.
  • Maintaining good relationship with the VAR‘s (Value Added Resellers) in the area and ensuring their concerns are sorted on time.
  • Coordinating with other departments to ensure that all technology is working properly for the company.
  • Providing support to IT staff by answering phones, processing paperwork, and responding to user requests.
  • Collecting, analyzing, and storing data for use in reports.
  • Key Qualifications

    • Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Information. Technology, Software development or IT related course-cloud computing, networking etc.
    • Certificate is software programming/coding an added advantage.
    • Above 3 years Work experience in ICT firm.
    • Work experience in ETR field an added advantage.
