DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Ability to develop and manage campaigns

  • Design, build and maintain our social media presence
  • Design, plan and execute all social media, SEO / SEM and display advertising campaigns
  • Identify new trends in digital marketing, evaluate new technologies and ensure the brand is at the forefront of industry development
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns based on insights
  • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies
  • Attend internal and external meetings, workshops & seminars which are reasonably deemed to be relevant to the fulfillment of the demands and responsibilities of this role
  • Compile weekly / monthly reports for supervisor showing ROI
  • Collaborate with internal teams, partners and brand influencers to make sure that content roll out is done efficiently and effectively
  • Liaise with Development / IT to stay updated on new products and features
  • Work closely with the SportPesa news content editor in making sure all the product-related banners & stories are updated and have correct information
  • Prepare and manage the digital marketing budget
  • Monitor competition and provide suggestions for improvement
  • Other duties may be assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Advanced Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or a relevant field
  • 3-7 years of experience in the Digital Marketing Industry
  • Knowledge and experience with online marketing tools and best practices
  • Knowledge and experience in Google Ads are a MUST HAVE
  • Demonstrated creativity and documented immersion in social media (please provide links or profiles as examples)
  • Proficient in content marketing theory and application
  • Ability to display in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, etc.) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

  • knowledge and experience in the tenets of traditional marketing
  • Facebook Blueprint Certification
  • Google Ad Word Certification
  • Online Media buying and planning certification
