About the Role

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

Our client a leading detergent manufacturer focused on selling to the industrial, institutional, hospitality (B2B) market only, products include detergents, cleaning accessories and machinery is looking for sales Executive who can drive business and discover new prospects and maintain the existing key accounts in Nairobi and Mombasa                                     

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Contacting and calling upon new prospects
  • Following up on referrals including new account inquiries and trade show leads
  • Planning and performing sales calls, cold calls, presentations, training and events as needed
  • Reviewing orders and sales reports to advise customers and maximize sales
  • Providing product spec sheets, price estimates, certificates of analysis and other industry documents.
  • Promoting and selling the company’s products to realize revenue
  • Maintain Building relationships with the new and existing clients
  • Presenting the organization’s system in a structured professional way to potential clients.
  • Gathering Market and Customer information
  • Identify customers’ needs and propose the best solutions; optimize customers’ accounts and proactively cross-sell and upsell
  • Identify and grow opportunities within assigned territory to achieve set sales targets
  • Keep track of all customers and preferences by serving as the main contact liaison and maintaining clear customer contacts in a database
  • Generate revenue by engaging external prospects from events and marketing
  • Monitoring database of all customers served
  • Ensure optimal customer experience through service given and follow up on all inquiries

REQUIREMENTS:

  •  Degree/Diploma in any  field
  • 1 year of Sales Experience in B2B (MUST)
  • Previous Experience working with cleaning solutions pruducts company is Required.
