Purpose of consultancy
To provide technical screening services based on confirmed technical criteria.
Deliverables
- Review applications from technical service providers based on confirmed technical criteria.
- Provide concise justification to accept or reject the applications of technical service provider applications, resulting in a subset of technical service providers meeting operational needs.
- Prepare draft Terms of Reference in related technical fields for WSE Division in consultation with technical staff.
Educational Qualifications:
Essential:
- First university degree in epidemiology, health and medical sciences or a related discipline in science.
Desirable:
- Project management certification such as PMP, Prince2 or Agile Management.
Experience
Essential:
- At least five years' relevant experience at national and international levels.
- Demonstrated experience in evaluating capacity needs to implement public health programs and general programme management for public health programs.
- Demonstrated experience in CV screening for public health technical service providers.
Skills/Knowledge:
Essential:
- Skills in programme management.
- Good computer skills in Microsoft office.
- Demonstrated excellent English writing and ability to synthesize information in a clear and concise manner.
- Demonstrated ability to understand technical issues in the field of public health.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-disciplinary and cross-cutting environment. Excellent organizational skills combined with ability to multi-task and produce accurate results under pressure.
- Knowledge of public health sector and issues.
Languages required:
Essential:
- Expert knowledge of English.
