AREA SALES MANAGERS – 2 POSITIONS

About Our Client

Our client is a lending institution that provides access to working capital to micro and small business in Kenya with regional presence in Uganda and Tanzania. They seek to hire two experienced area sales managers to be based in Kawangware and Kangemi in Nairobi. The successful applicants should be willing to report immediately. Market knowledge of the two locations is required.

Key Responsibilities

▪ Training and motivating the field officers under your jurisdiction to carry out their day-to-day activities.

▪ Assessing clients loan requests

▪ Constant marketing in the area

▪ Ensuring all clients repay the loans in the loan term period

▪ Sharing team’s performance on Assessments and collections from time to time

▪ Ensuring timely disbursement of approved loans.

▪ Making sales or recommendations for products or services that may better suit client needs.

The successful applicant should have the following:

▪ Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in any business-related field.

▪ Good product knowledge product.

▪ At least 3 years' experience with a strong individual performance record.

▪ Ability to supervise a team and deliver well under pressure and meet deadlines.

▪ Good communication skills both oral and written.

▪ Experience in the operations function with strong planning, organizing, co-ordination ability.

▪ The ability to execute with minimum supervision.

▪ Excellent computer skills.
