Responsibilities

• The incumbent will provide clinical care to patients and emergency support to ensure timely and optimal delivery of quality patient care. 
• He/she shall contribute to maintenance of evidence based and effective practice delivery by the clinical team.
• He/she will also provide supervision and support for junior medical staff co-located within specific outreach centres with period report of activities expected.
• The incumbent shall liaise with the quality advisor, manager outreach, Chair department of Internal Medicine as well as other administrative support to fulfil the requirements of this position.

Requirements

• Master of Medicine in Internal Medicine or successful completion of a residency in Internal Medicine.
• Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) or equivalent
• Registration by the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board
• Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (BLS & ACLS)
