Our client a leading logistics company, is seeking to recruit a Dispatch and logistics manager. The qualified candidate will be responsible for handling services order, direct drivers, management of safe, efficient, handling, dispatch & distribution of products, resolve service issues any new problem that may arise. The successful candidate Must have a minimum of 4 years’ experience as a dispatch/logistics manager in the manufacturing sector.

Key Requirements:

• Manage the daily scheduling of drivers and ensure delivery targets are met.
• Communicate with drivers and customer throughout the delivery process.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations.
• Responsible for meeting on-time performance requirements.
• Resolve transportation problems with urgency and professionalism.
• Record and document information from drivers and distribute to appropriate departments.
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned by management.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience as a dispatch and logistics manager in the manufacturing sector.

Qualifications:

• Must have a higher diploma or bachelor’s degree in logistics/supply chain/transportation function or business-related course.
• Must have integrity with high morals and professional ethical values.
• Must have prior working experience in the logistics sector.
• Good Command of English language and an excellent communicator.
• Thorough knowledge of operations procedures & processes.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure while meeting strict deadlines.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Able to work in a variable shift pattern with hours that may vary according to operational need.
