Vacancy: Warehouse Manager
Location: Nairobi
Purpose
To plan and coordinate the incoming goods, storage, and dispatch of items in a timely and efficient manner, to achieve team targets objectives and Key Performance indicators (KPIs)
Responsibilities
• To perform the receipt of the materials and dispatch of goods.
• Checking the materials in terms of quantity according to packing conditions
• To organize materials to be delivered according to stock request from operation team
• To prepare Good Receive Notes and Dispatch will bill
• To ensure the facility and equipment are well maintained
• To train guide and evaluate team members
• Coordinating with logistics team to verify the packing lists to be sure of the purchase order at the time of material reception
• Performing physical stock checking
• To keep forklift equipment operating by enforcing operating instructions
Qualification & Experience
• 4 years of warehouse management experience
• Have a Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management and Procurement or in any other related field
• Excellent understanding of warehouse management procedure
• Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory control
• Ability to build, lead and motivate a skilled team
• Able to meet objectives and agreed targets
