Our client, a high-end camp in Narok is looking to recruit waiters. The ideal candidate(s) will ensure guests have an enjoyable dining experience by providing quality customer service. He/she will be tasked with taking orders, serving food & drinks, billing and removing dinnerware from the table in a timely manner. The successful candidate Must have at least 1 year of experience serving in a high-end restaurant.

Key Requirements:

• Welcome and seating guests, in a friendly and professional manner.
• Always Maintaining the dining area in a clean and presentable condition.
• Ensure Crockery, cutlery and glassware are clean and polished before service.
• To ensure that customers are correctly charged as required, present the bill and take payment from the customer, in accordance with the procedures of the establishment.
• Participate in outdoor meal set-up, as per meal service and ensure, clearance and closed procedures are adhered to.
• Be totally familiar with the composition of the menu items for the day before the start of meal service.
• Taking accurate food and drink orders correctly and communicating the order details to the kitchen staff.
• Control breakages of operating equipment and participate in stock taking as required.

Qualifications:

• Must have a certificate/diploma in Food and Beverage.
• Must have a minimum of 1 year experience in a high-end restaurant.
• Good oral and written communication skills (English& Swahili).
• Must have good knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• He/she should be a good team player.
• Must have excellent customer care skills.
• Must be flexible and willing to work in shifts.
