Our client, a software development and ICT consultancy company is looking to recruit a Software Engineer to be based in Karen, Nairobi. The successful candidate will be required to Perform Software development assignments and support the software development team while reporting to the Director of Technology. The ideal candidate must have a Degree in Computer Science.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide operational support to the Company’s existing business solutions.
• Review code work by peers to ensure accuracy and functionality.
• Developing and implementing software architectural plans.
• Development of project documentation for reference and reporting.
• Responsible for client Tech support and account management.
• Review and adherence to UI/UX deliverables.
• Support to RFP and project planning.
• New technology support for development of new products and solutions.
• Web hosting, third party software solutions.
• Development of projects to time and budget.
• Development of projects in accordance to agreed design and scope.
• Introduction of new technology, methodologies, and tools to improve business efficiency.
• Clear, accurate documentation for all project assignments.
• Adherence to GitHub and documentation standards.

Qualifications:

• Must have a degree in computer science.
• Must have Laravel framework knowledge and PHP coding background.
• Must have 3-4 years of experience in a similar field.
• Proven Project Management experience.
• Excellent Time Management and problem-solving skills.
• Good Client and Customer relationship skills.
• Creative and out of the box thinker.
