HOTEL CONTRACTING EXECUTIVE (Kshs25k – Kshs50k)

We are looking to hire a hotel contracting officer for our client in the hotel and tours industry.

LOCATION: NAIROBI


REPORTING TO: – Branch Head and Global Contracting Manager.

Responsibilities
1. Research various destinations within assigned geography and scout for suitable properties for contracting maximizing the inventory.
2. Identify key markets and the types of accommodations that would complement our current product offerings and revenue growth.
3. Procuring New Contracts & renewals of the hotels.
4. Review contracts and documents diligently and do initial parity checking.
5. Sharing contracts with Support Team.
6. Procuring Hotel Promotions.
7. Maximizing Hotel Sales for respective locations.
8. Maintain relationships with key people of the accommodation industry.
9. Address and resolve any standard/service level issues with suppliers.
10. Support to Ops & Tourism Team.
11. Ensure the booking Distribution to our Preferred Hotels.
12. Procuring Stop Sales / Sold Out dates from the hotel to update the Inventory.
13. Submit necessary reports with Manager.
14. Conduct Price Comparison of existing hotels.
15. Perform other assignments to be given by the superior.
16. Attend events / conferences to maintain familiarity with accommodation trends and increase brand visibility.
17. Keep an eye for the ongoing demand and supply throughout the market.
18. Closely monitor the room production and work with all the relevant parties to stimulate growth of bookings, room nights and revenue.

Qualifications, Skills and Requirements:
1. Preferably 0-5yrs with similar experiences in Top Wholesale/Tour Operators.
2. Minimum qualification – should at least be a graduate.
3. Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
4. Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects & tight deadlines.
5. Well organized, ability to manage multitask roles & prioritize.
6. Strong negotiation, analytical, strategic & creative problem-solving skills.
7. Good image & excellent communication & interpersonal skills face to face, over email or phone.
8. Strong computer applications skills (Microsoft Word, excel).
9. Excellent general cultural knowledge.
10. Willing to work in Pressure.
