Main purpose of the job

The successful candidate will support the Firm’s procurement management process across East Africa including monitoring budgets and implementation of procurement plans. He/she will provide guidance in execution of specific tasks related to procurement management in the Firm in order to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.

What you will do

  • Support in the implementation of the Deloitte procurement policy, procedures, and donor requirements;
  • Conduct the day-to-day procurement sourcing processes including RFQ, RFP to effectively meet user requirements and ensure value for money;
  • Continuously manage supplier contracts in an efficient manner for performance reviews, renewals, or terminations;
  • Implement vendor compliance in line with Deloitte’s Risk, Independence and Legal requirements;
  • Maintain professional supplier relationships and collect data to monitor supplier performance;
  • Prepare and submit monthly procurement reports; and
  • Collect, update, and ensure safe custody of all procurement records.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement and Supplies Management or Degree in a Business-related field from an accredited university.
  • 4 years’ experience in procurement and supply chain management.
  • Working knowledge of SAP systems and related software.
  • Be a registered member of KISM. CIPS membership will be an added advantage.
