Our client, a Group of Hospitals committed to provide first class health care is seeking to recruit a Learning and Development Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing the L&D strategy, contribute to building the organization’s capability & developing a learning culture and manage performance management initiatives.

Key Requirements:

  • Develop the learning strategy and framework.
  • Develop a support structure to execute and embed learning
  • Develop both leadership and technical competencies
  • Build learning academies of journeys for leadership and technical development
  • Deploy various learning avenues e.g. e-learning; on-line; coaching, on-job;
  • Lead and/or coordinate all stakeholders involved in training (trainers, internal line trainers, external trainers and training facility management
  • Manage the performance management docket
  • Manage the L&D budget and plans
  • Manage the development and execution of Training Needs Analysis (TNA), training calendar, training delivery, training curriculum, aides and tools (review/ research, acquisition/maintenance)
  • Deliver assigned training courses and programs
  • Develop systems for measuring the effectiveness of learning
  • Develop partnerships with various learning institutions for a collaborative relation
  • Run with performance management processes.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant Bachelor’s Degree.
  • A Master’s Degree will be an added advantage
  • Must possess post graduate certification in in human resource, or a specific area of human resource
  • Be a member in good standing of the IHRM
  • Have knowledge and relevant work experience of not less than 7 years, with at least 3 years in management roles
  • Certification in coaching will be an added advantage
  • Knowledge in content and curriculum development is highly sought
  • Good understanding of performance management processes
  • Expert knowledge in learning and development, talent management, customer service management, people management, relationship management and project management are essential for this role
  • Have demonstrable knowledge and experience in Labor and Employment Laws and HR Regulatory Guidelines, HR policies and procedures, HR Data and Records Management, People Management, Business, and customer service teamwork, with a mastery know how in computers.
