Job purpose

This role is responsible for coordination and implementation of organizational change initiatives and strategies.

Key Responsibilities/ Duties / Tasks

Managerial / Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Supervise day to day operations in the unit
  • Supervise, Coach and Mentor Staff

Operational Responsibilities / Tasks

  • Support the review of the Authority's Organization structures and updating approved changes in the structure.
  • Implement Human Resources projects and provide support for the Authority’s projects
  • Maintain and update staff establishments and organization structures
  • Support the planning and implementation of organizational change initiatives and strategies
  • Support the development and review of job descriptions and job specifications
  • Support the development and integration of human resource programs and associated projects to achieve strategic business goals and operational objectives
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Prepare periodic and ad hoc management reports for approval by management
  • Support facilitation of optimum utilization of resource
  • Carry out research and data analysis of Human Resources Programmes/ Projects
  • Facilitate implementation of the work plans for the following corporate initiatives in the unit: Audit, Integrity, QMS and Risk Management.
  • Drive initiatives to improve ethics, culture and facilitate change management in the unit

Job Competencies (Knowledge, Experience and Attributes / Skills).

      Academic qualifications

  • A degree in Human Resource Management or related field from a recognized institution.

Professional Qualifications / Membership to professional bodies

  • Diploma in HR/Post graduate Diploma in HR/ Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP)
  • Membership to a Professional Body – IHRM

Previous relevant work experience required.

  • Minimum of 3 years work experience in a similar
