Our client in the hospitality industry seeks to hire a Food and Beverage Manager to manage the restaurant facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the food and beverage department and all its sections.

Key Responsibilities

  • Major Manage all F&B and day-to-day operations within budgeted guidelines and to the highest standards
  • Manages service aspects in all food and beverage assigned areas and events, and acknowledges, greets and thanks all members and guests
  • Communicates and teams well with other departments
  • Preserve excellent levels of internal and external customer service
  • Design exceptional menus, purchase goods and continuously make necessary improvements
  • Identify customers’ needs and respond proactively to all of their concerns
  • Communicates with service and kitchen staff regarding reservations and/or special events
  • Provide a two-way communication and nurture an ownership environment with emphasis in motivation and teamwork
  • Comply with all health and safety regulations
  • Report on management regarding sales results and productivity
  • Confirms that all service staff are in proper uniform and adhere to the Club’s appearance standards
  • Participation in Manager on Duty shifts as required.
  • Attendance and participation at weekly F & B meeting and Department Head meeting

Key Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in the hospitality industry, with an emphasis on food and beverages.
  • Experience in the fine dining industry is an added advantage 
  • Proven food and beverage management experience
  • Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)
  • Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
  • Mastery in delegating multiple tasks
  • Communication and leadership skills
  • Up to date with food and beverages trends and best practices
  • Ability to manage personnel and meet financial targets
  • Guest-oriented and service-minded
