Job Purpose;

The main role will be to build, query, and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities to improve our business. This role is responsible for delivering impactful insights into key business decisions.

Responsibilities
Main Tasks and Responsibilities

Identifying and recommending new ways to save money by streamlining business processes
Using data to predict trends in the customer base and the consumer population as a whole
Conduct analysis to drive valuable business insights, using internal analytics tools.
Provide actionable data to various internal support groups as needed
Prepares management reporting by collecting, analyzing and accurately summarizing data and trends; using discretion where needed, recommends area of opportunities based on analysis findings.


Qualification & Experience
Skills and Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in statistics, Mathematics, Computer science, or related field.
2. At least 2 years of working experience as a Data Analyst in a Financial institution or call/Customer care center.
3. Proven working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst.
4. Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc), databases (SQL, etc), programming (XML, Javascript, or ETL frameworks)
5. Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS, etc)
