Role purpose

To ensure the cuttings have the required documents from Syngenta Pollen to the requested destination (Import & Export).

Accountabilities

• Accompanies the cuttings to the Airport and secures all necessary shipment documents to ensure that the consignment is delivered at the agents.
• Ensures documents are compliance with phyto-sanitary regulations, local requirements, and applicable international regulations
• Obtains base documents & Plant Import Permits for cuttings and avail them on time to suppliers and Agents
• Obtain phytosanitary certificate for cuttings.
• Facilitates VAT refund process by ensuring appropriate documents (C17b forms) is filed, logged & customs stamped.
• Prepares and dispatches shipping documents to Customs Officials, Clients & internal users for smooth clearance of consignments.
• Books flights, confirms and creates necessary export and import shipment documents for timely delivery of consignments.
• HCD licence application for cuttings
• Ensure that every shipment has a HCD & ERO1/GSP certificate.
• Enforces HSE rules and regulations and champions the implementation of the Syngenta code of practise in all business operations.
• Any other tasks & projects as may be allocated from time to time.

• Diploma preferably in supply chaim managent
• Undergraduate (Supply Chain Management or Agri Business) added advantage.

• 2 Years’ Experience in Horticulture Logistics
