Role Purpose

To ensure that all the purchase requests have been processed and the materials have been bought & delivered to the farm.

Accountabilities

  • Issue Local Purchase orders
  • Liaise with contracted suppliers to ensured scheduled maintenance program are adhered to
  • Liaise with suppliers to get optimum prices of items required
  • Check and verify requisition documents before procuring the items
  • Prepare & issue any other required documents for procurement
  • Maintain and update supplier database products and terms
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure items ordered have been delivered
  • Ensure details of returned items are well documented and follow-up on re-supply
  • Verify availability of the items from suppliers before procurement
  • Ensuring Job card & project certificate have been issued by the supplier
  • Ensuring that HSE rules and regulations for the company are observed by the suppliers
  • Enforces HSE rules and regulations and champions the implementation of the Syngenta HSE policy in all business operations.
  • Any other tasks & projects as may be allocated from time to time
