Direct Sales Representative-Bancassurance

Reporting To: Relationship Manager-Bancassurance


Overall Job Purpose


The Direct Sales Representative-Bancassurance will be responsible for providing complete and appropriate insurance solutions for every customer in order to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels and profitability.


Principle Accountabilities

1.Present, promote and sell products to existing and prospective customers.

2.Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.

3.Reach out to customer leads through cold calling and continuously improve through feedback.

4.Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.

5.Deliver the agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within agreed timelines.

6.Coordinate sales effort/activations with team members and other departments.

7.Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports.

8.Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities and potential for new products and services.

9.Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends.

10.Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.


Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience

1. Certificate of proficiency in Insurance (COP). ACII or AIIK or progress towards the same will be an added advantage.

2. Business/Insurance-related Diploma. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

3. Proven work experience as a sales representative.

4.Excellent knowledge of MS office.
