Our client, a dynamic Forex Bureau in Nairobi is seeking to recruit tellers to assist in the daily operations of their respective branches. The position requires a mature person with excellent administration and customer service skills. Previous experience working for a Forex Bureau is an added advantage

Key Requirements:

  • Ensuring transactions are completed in an efficient manner with a high level of accuracy.
  • Provide information on the conditions and exchange rates for buying and selling foreign currencies to customers.
  • Performs administrative tasks such as filing, generating reports and maintaining mail correspondence.
  • Follow compliance procedures, company policies and abide by all health and safety guidelines as per company standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service at all times.
  • Enter customers’ transactions into computers to record transactions and issue computer-generated receipts.
  • Maintain a cash float and follow balancing and reconciling procedures at the end of every shift.
  • Balance currency in cash drawers at ends of shifts and calculate daily transactions using computers, calculators, or adding machines.

 Qualifications

  • Relevant Bachelors Degree.
  • Must be proficient in MS Office and have excellent communication skills.
  • Great attention to detail and an outgoing personality.
  • Previous experience in a cash handling environment would be an advantage.
  • Ability to work on own initiative accurately, with attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of Punjabi and Hindi languages is an added advantage.
  • A highly motivated person with a passion to perform.
