Our client, a dynamic Forex Bureau in Nairobi is seeking to recruit tellers to assist in the daily operations of their respective branches. Key Requirements:
- Ensuring transactions are completed in an efficient manner with a high level of accuracy.
- Provide information on the conditions and exchange rates for buying and selling foreign currencies to customers.
- Performs administrative tasks such as filing, generating reports and maintaining mail correspondence.
- Follow compliance procedures, company policies and abide by all health and safety guidelines as per company standards.
- Provide excellent customer service at all times.
- Enter customers’ transactions into computers to record transactions and issue computer-generated receipts.
- Maintain a cash float and follow balancing and reconciling procedures at the end of every shift.
- Balance currency in cash drawers at ends of shifts and calculate daily transactions using computers, calculators, or adding machines.
Qualifications
- Relevant Bachelors Degree.
- Must be proficient in MS Office and have excellent communication skills.
- Great attention to detail and an outgoing personality.
- Previous experience in a cash handling environment would be an advantage.
- Ability to work on own initiative accurately, with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of Punjabi and Hindi languages is an added advantage.
- A highly motivated person with a passion to perform.
