About the role

The inbound Customer Success team seeks to scale the quantity of feedstock collected while achieving the target weighted average cost per ton and operating overheads.

The incumbent’s role will be to optimize the value of organic waste management for both Sanergy and its organic waste clients.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Fleet Scheduling Engineer to ensure feedstock is ready for collection in sync with the fleqaet schedule to ensure On Time In Full Error Free (OTIFEF) service to our clients and the Production team

  • Lead in the coaching of vendors, clients and workmen doing sorting operations(sorting of collected waste) to ensure Error Free delivery of feedstock to the factory

  • Analyze daily sorting & consolidation operations to identify lean wastes, develop and implement projects to improve processes in liaison with your manager

  • Accurately track key feedstock metrics - (Volume per client, Waste sorting labor utilization & efficiency, utilities utilization, etc)

  • Reconcile daily, weekly and monthly feedstock volumes in a Plan v Actual format with respect to the factory demand and utilization

  • Maintain and update a rolling 4 week plan for your unit staffing, consumables, PPE, tools & equipment (inventory management) and any other as required by your manager to achieve the outputs required for the period within budget

  • Develop SMART daily operation schedules, Leader Standardized Worksheets that will be executed by the unit Supervisors and Workman 2’s

  • Hold regular performance review sessions with your reports using the performance management tools developed by your manager

  • Implement professional development plans for your team developed with your manager

  • Monitor day to day resource utilization to ensure that all operations are run within the budget allocated

  • Manage float allocated to facilitate daily operations

  • Maintain recyclables inventory and track offtake and revenue generated per fraction

  • Skills & Qualifications needed

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or science related degree preferred
  • Proficient in MS Excel and excellent data analysis skills ( A must have)
  • At least 2 - 3 years of relevant experience in inbound logistics or operations management is highly desired
  • Knowledge and experience in Lean operations management (tools & techniques) is desired
  • Hands-on, organizational and spontaneous problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge and experience in using AutoCAD and other CAD design software to generate 2D and 3D engineering concept drawings will be an added advantage.
