Job description

About the role.

BURN is seeking to hire an experienced maintenance engineer to join our organization. The ideal person will be responsible for leading a team comprising of maintenance and machining technicians. The engineer will also be responsible for management of equipment life cycle, managing the maintenance cost, lead in equipment installations and commissioning. He/she will also be required to train staff on equipment maintenance and proper operating procedures. We are looking for someone who is interested in working in a dynamic, challenging environment, for a company that recognizes and rewards creativity, initiative, and contributions.

Duties and responsibilities.

• Lead the team comprising maintenance and machining technicians
• Management of equipment life cycle
• Managing the maintenance cost
• Lead in equipment installations and commissioning
• Develop maintenance procedures and KPIs
• Conduct and oversee maintenance process audits
• Lead in Equipment RCA.
• Ensure equipment run optimally with minimal downtime
• Training staff on equipment maintenance and proper operating procedures
• Respond to major breakdowns.
• Support the maintenance planning and scheduling.
• Lead maintenance meetings.
• Report on maintenance KPIs and ensure fast closure of RCAs.

Essential.

• Strong engineering background in Mechanical and Electrical field
• Problem solver will be the lead person in RCA.
• Experience with tooling, presses and spot-welding technology.
• Leadership mentality.

Desired.

• Sheet metal background, knowledgeable in tooling and fixture.
• CAD/CAM experience especially on tool path generation.
• Hands on.
• Experience in laser cutting and CNC milling.
