Job description

About Role

Burn is looking to hire a Quality Control Lead who will oversee the activity of the quality assurance team, developing, implementing, and maintaining a system of quality and reliability testing for the organization’s products and development processes. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  •  Measure and analyze quality in the factory, including incoming quality on raw materials, finished goods  quality, in-process quality
  • Manage the out-of-box audit (OBA) process, providing feedback to the production and engineering teams
  • Manage a team of quality inspectors and analysts with their daily tasks and workstation allocation
  • Generate and share daily and monthly quality reports including corrective actions
  • Coordinate weekly and monthly meetings between quality inspectors and production employees to review line quality
  • Work with engineering & NPD teams to ensure that process/product validations are carried out adequately and successfully
  • Participate in the development and revision of quality documents, such as spec sheets, SOPs, drawings, etc
  • Facilitate training, learning, and knowledge dissemination for quality inspectors and analysts. Contribute towards training strategy for the factory
  • Identify stations and production lines that need more training and/or more talent
  • Ensure that all quality requirements are met before ECN/TPD implementation 
  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the manager from time to time

  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years experience in a quality control leadership role.
