Key Responsibilities

  • Pro-active sales for new potential clients and business
  • Organizing B2B Meetings for exhibitions in Kenya and East Africa.
  • Promoting Kenyan exhibitions to potential exhibitors in Kenya and East Africa.
  • Visitor and VIP marketing within East Africa.
  • Sponsorship Marketing.
  • Building data base of potential exhibitors and visitors in East Africa.
  • Research and contact of new potential exhibitors through all sales channels for several German Exhibitions.
  • Research and contact of associations in East Africa.
  • Contact person to all East African customers.
  • Contact person for the European and African Embassies in Nairobi.
  • General service person for Kenyan exhibitors and business buyers.
  • Promoting the company within East Africa region.
  • Research and Initiation of new Business through new business partners.
  • Coordination of Appointments for German Partners and delegations.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Degree or diploma in Sales & Marketing, Hospitality or related filed.
  • At least 2-3 years of relevant experience especially in the events sales.
  • Experience in end customer relationship management.
  • Excellent customer service.
  • Excellent networking skills.
  • Great communication and oral skills – fluent in Swahili and English.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiar with online marketing.
