MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Qualification process: supplier approval

Manufacturer / product validation:

Pre-assessment: send the appropriate Questionnaire(s) to manufacturers and screen for completeness according to SOP.

Product assessment:

  • Organise the sample collection when required, and send to the laboratory according to the sampling plan,
  • Create the MSF Certificate of Analyse summarizing the results,
  • Perform the organoleptic test,
  • Check the packaging as per interagency and PSS requirements,
  • Evaluate the stability study report as per interagency requirements,
  • Evaluate the complete analyse report provided by the manufacturer
  • Share results of product evaluation with the manufacturers
  • Monitor the quality complaint/non-conformities when necessary
  • Manufacturer/product dossier evaluation:
  • Perform the dossier evaluation by using the rating system defined in the SOP
  • For each of the points above: maintain information up to date in databases (Uniquality) and centralise documents in the document repository (sharepoint)

Monitoring of KPIs for all approved manufacturers/products:

  • Implement the monitoring priority as newly defined in uniquality
  • Request KPI related information to manufacturers and screen for completeness:
  • Quality reviews KPIs: annual complete analyse, coefficient of variation, MSF analyse, organoleptic test, foreign particle detection, heat treatment parameters, lot size, nb mixes per tracer, qty per tracer
  • Entity KPIs: certification, production capacity
  • Evaluate KPIs according to SOP
  • Monitor the KPIs and maintain information up to date (uniquality)

Technical support and training / briefing

  • Restart / update the e-learning: QUALeatY and QUALIment
  • Revise the content
  • Develop new sections as needed

Quality management system (QMS) and documents

  • Participate in the development, implementation and maintenance of the QMS, in particular, for summer 2022:
  • Revision of the qualification process

Internal network

  • Assist the coordinator in the development and maintenance of the sharepoint for QA NFOS network
  • Participate in the monthly calls for each channel (2 calls: ESC members + ISP and OC QA ref)
  • Participate in the annual meeting for the NFOS QA network

Job requirements

  • Food science degree: Master of Science level, or equivalent (pharmacist with experience in quality assurance management accepted)
  • Knowledge of international food standard (FSSC 22000, BRC, IFS…)
  • Mature with strong interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Capacity to work and report independently
  • Able to work with precision and rigor
  • Experience (more than 2 years) in similar positions in the humanitarian/private sector at international/national level.
  • Experience with MSF or similar organisation is desirable
  • Experience in project management and team management is desirable
  • Communication skills: public speaking to be able to represent MSF in relevant meetings
  • Fluency in English is mandatory, French or other language would be added advantages
  • IT skills: excel, word, power point, teams
