Qualifications, Skills and Experience Required:

For appointment to this position one MUST have the following:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (KNQF Level 7 or equivalent)  in Commerce Business Administration, Business Management (Finance option) or other relevant and equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution. 
  • Proficiency in computer applications and 
  • Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.

    Responsibilities:

    Key Duties and responsibilities;

  • Assist in the budget making process and during revision of the same 
  • Checking the Vote Book and ensure budgetary controls are in place 
  • Ensures safe custody of accountable documents 
  • Review monthly, quarterly and annual management reports; 
  • Review vote book entries and undertake monthly variance analysis; 
  • Conduct below the line analysis accounts; 
  • Assist in the budget and revised budget preparation as per work plan
