Our client, a new 5-star hotel in Qatar, is looking to fill multiple Lifeguard positions. The candidate must be able to swim, well-groomed, friendly, patient and have at least one year of experience in a similar role. The candidate will be expected to cater for their own passport and good conduct certificate costs (Estimated Ksh. 7,500).

Key Responsibilities:

• Offer professional, friendly, and engaging services.
• Be sure the pool area is clean and tidy including the guest area (gents & ladies’ changing rooms, outdoor and indoor area)
• Inform the guest about the services and activities available in the pool.
• Make sure the pool workers have done the pool testing before allowing guests.
• Make sure the guests are aware of rules of the facility.
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies
• Ensure that the life-saving equipment is in place and in working condition.
• Supervise children’s swimming activities.
• Maintain a watchful eye on guest safety.
• Rescue swimmers who are drowning and issue first AID.

Qualifications:

• Willingness to learn and a positive attitude.
• Should have a certificate in first aid.
• Must be able to swim.
• Must be polite and cooperate well within a team.
• Must have a valid good conduct certificate.
• Must have a passport.
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
• Must be able to work in shifts, maybe at weekends or during holidays.
• Experience as a lifeguard will be an added advantage.
